Terms of Service
By using Sashité you agree to play fairly and to respect other players.
The service
Sashité provides the apps for Nostr-based play — the board, matchmaking, ratings — and operates the relay relay.sanki.app that carries the games. Playing itself is free.
The service is provided as is, by one person, without paid support or uptime guarantees. Your games themselves are Nostr events: signed by you, verifiable by anyone, and readable from any relay that carries them — they do not depend on Sashité’s goodwill to remain yours.
Age
You must be at least 15 years old to use Sashité — the age at which French law lets you consent to a service like this one yourself. Sashité shows no advertising and runs no targeting, to anyone.
Your key is your responsibility
You alone hold your Nostr key. Losing it means losing access to that identity — there is no recovery, by design. Anything published with your key counts as published by you.
What is not allowed
Content that is illegal under French or EU law — including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, credible threats, and content infringing others’ rights — plus, on this service: harassment of other players, cheating (engine assistance where it is prohibited by the match terms, deliberate protocol abuse), spam, and attempts to disrupt the relay or the bots that operate play.
How moderation actually works
Most moderation on relay.sanki.app is structural and automated, and applies to everyone equally: the relay only accepts the event kinds of the Sashité game suite (an allowlist — free-text content mostly cannot enter in the first place), enforces rate limits, and requires a small proof-of-work on game events. No automated system judges the meaning of content.
Beyond that, a human — the operator — reviews reports (Nostr NIP-56 reports, and reports sent by email, open to anyone) and may remove events from the relay or restrict a key’s access to it, for the reasons on this page and only for those reasons.
If your content or access is restricted, you will be told — what was restricted, why, on what legal or contractual ground, and how to contest it (a “statement of reasons”, as EU law calls it). Decisions are made by a human, not solely by automated means.
Contesting a decision
Reply to the notification you received, or write to contact@sashite.com: a human re-examines the decision. If you remain unsatisfied, you may turn to any competent out-of-court dispute-settlement body, or to the courts. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you.
The fine print, kept short
These terms are governed by French law. They may change; the current version is always this page, and material changes will be announced on Sashité’s Nostr account. If a clause proves invalid, the rest stands.
